Welcome to my store

My name is Darla Lawson. I have been a designer, product developer/illustrator in the craft and hobby industry for over 20 years. My products have sold in all the major craft and hobby stores throughout the USA and other countries. What a blessed career I had.

I love all the mediums of art and design but I have to say that my most favorite medium is oil painting. Painting birds and flowers are my specialty. I paint them on everything! The sweet little birds are so delicate and offer us such enjoyment with their colors and whimsical song. No wonder they are used in so many artists paintings, poems and songs like “His eye is on the sparrow” an old hymn.

All the plaques are Handmade and Made to Order. From the beginning of each design image to the last finishing touch. A lot of time and love goes into each one of these little plaques. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed designing
